With your permission, Seemira reads health and biometric data from Apple Health, including data such as heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, and related metrics. This data is used to understand patterns in your physiological state and provide real-time insights.
Derived Insights
Seemira processes health data to generate patterns and insights about your nervous system, such as periods of elevated activation and recovery.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you interact with Seemira, such as feature usage, in-app events, sign-ups, downloads, and pages viewed on our website.
Purchase Data
We collect information about your purchases and subscriptions, such as whether you started a trial or subscribed.
Device and Online Identifiers
We may collect basic information about your device and connection, such as device type, operating system, device identifiers, IP address, and cookie identifiers.

How Your Data Is Processed and Stored
Seemira is designed to process your health data primarily on your device.
- Health data from Apple Health is analyzed locally on your device to generate insights
- Session history and derived insights are stored locally on your device
- Seemira does not transmit or store continuous or high-frequency health data streams on its own servers
In the future, your data may be synced using Apple's iCloud services, which are governed by your Apple account settings.
Advertising, Analytics, and Data Sharing
To understand how people find Seemira and to reach others like them, we share certain information with advertising and analytics partners, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram). This may include:
- Device and online identifiers, such as device ID, IP address, and cookie identifiers
- Your purchase and subscription activity
- How you use our app and website, such as features used, sign-ups, downloads, and pages viewed
We use this information for two purposes:
- Measurement and attribution, to see whether an ad led to a visit, an install, or a purchase
- Audience building, to reach new people whose interests are similar to our members, including through custom and lookalike audiences
This sharing happens through tools such as the Meta Pixel on our website, the Meta SDK and Conversions API in our app, and cookies and similar technologies. Depending on your settings, Meta and other partners may use this information to match activity to their own accounts and to build advertising audiences.
We do not share your health and biometric data, or the content of what you record inside the app, with advertising partners. Advertising and audience data is limited to identifiers, purchase activity, and general app and website usage.
Beyond Meta, we work with a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, including our analytics provider, our messaging and marketing tools (such as ManyChat and LeadConnector), the Apple App Store, and our payment and subscription processor. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.

You stay in control of this:

- In our app, you can decline tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and your device privacy settings
- Some privacy laws treat sharing data for interest-based advertising as a "sale" or "share." We do not sell your personal information for money, but to give you full control you can opt out of this sharing at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our website footer, or by emailing [email protected]

Seemira may send notifications based on patterns detected on your device. These detections occur locally, and your health data is not transmitted to a server to trigger notifications.
